May 14-18

A Few Things:
1. On Monday- Wednesday, our 3rd, 4th and 5th graders will be taking the STAAR Test. Due to the security of this test, we ask that all parents and visitors refrain from being on campus on these days. Thank you for your continual support.
2. Trout Field Trip- May 24, next Thursday. Due to the distance and traffic of our trip, all 2nd graders must arrive on campus at 6:45 am for a 7:00 departure. We have reserved charter buses for our trip. We are asking that all students pack a snack, disposable water bottle and a lunch/drink. We will make the following stops to release the trout that we have been raising since January and a 2nd stop to tour a hatchery.
  • The location of the release is a private residence in Canyon Lake, Texas. We will provide the exact address as the date comes closer.
  • The A.E. Wood Fish Hatchery is just off of I-35, only about 30 minutes from the release point (507 Staples Rd, San Marcos, TX 78666).
We will do our best to return to campus as close to dismissal time but with unforeseen traffic and schedule, we will anticipate a 3:30 return. We will keep the school's office posted on ETA and will send an email to parents on our arrival time the day of.
3. End of Year Party- The 2nd grade end of year party is scheduled for May 25, Friday at 1:30-2:30.
